Wiegers Capital Partners is part of a Denver based group of alternative investment companies founded in 1993 with over $150 million in assets under management. Its activities include both private equity investing as well as more traditional asset management services.

We specialize in financing strong management teams operating companies with established markets and products that are in search of capital to further develop their businesses or facilitate a change in ownership.

The firm and its principals have an extensive record of operating and growing companies in a variety of industries, from distribution and energy to media and service companies, and are widely recognized for our ability to craft creative financial solutions for our portfolio companies.

Wiegers Capital is not a traditional “fund” or limited partnership typically seen in private equity transactions. The firm acts as a principal in every transaction it considers, investing our own capital along with that of our associated co-investors. In addition we have very strong ties to some of the largest lending institutions in the country. These relationships not only allow us to leverage our own financial resources and those of our co-investors, but to structure financings in many situations that would be overlooked by more traditional direct investors.
